Point System
In addition to tutoring Spanish for 2 hours each semester, (TUTORING SUSPENDED THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID-19) all members will be required to earn at least 10 points per school year. Points can be earned through participation in Hispanic related activities or other charitable endeavors. See the Activities List.

Dues - COLLECTION OF DUES IS SUSPENDED AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID-19.
Dues are $15 for new members. Dues cover the cost of sponsorship of the chapter, induction certificates, ceremony booklets, and ceremony reception. Dues will not be collected this year due to COVID19.
No late dues can be accepted due to PCS accounting procedures. Students who don’t pay their dues on time will be dismissed from the society.

Tutoring - TUTORING IS SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID 19.
All members are required to tutor for at least 2 hours EACH SEMESTER.
If you cannot tutor on the day you are scheduled, you MUST FIND A REPLACEMENT and give AT LEAST 24 hours notice of your absence. If you do not show up or send a substitute, you will then be required to tutor one hour extra, or earn an extra point, AND you will be put on probation. A second infraction will result in dismissal from the society.
If we are unable to schedule you for two sessions in a semester, you may do another activity to fulfill the tutoring requirement. Check with your sponsor for more details.

Canned Food Drive - SUSPENDED THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID 19.
All members are expected to contribute five cans or other non-perishable items to the canned food drive to benefit the Hispanic Outreach Center in Clearwater. Five cans are required and worth one point. Dates to be announced.

Activities and Points Deadline
You must turn in your Activities and Points Log to Sra. Damp in May of 2020. Exact date to be determined second semester. No late forms will be accepted. Points Logs may be downloaded from our website.
New Member Induction - INDUCTION WILL BE ONLINE THIS YEAR. MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW.
