Point System
In addition to tutoring Spanish each semester, all members will be required to earn at least 12 points per school year. Points can be earned through participation in Hispanic related activities or other charitable endeavors. See the Activities List.

New Member Application - Due by Friday, September 8.

Dues - Due with application by Friday, September 8.
Dues are $25.00 for all members, which includes the cost of a T-shirt, and are due with the membership application or returning member application. Dues cover the cost of sponsorship of the chapter, induction certificates, ceremony booklets, and ceremony reception, and other costs of the Society.
No late dues can be accepted due to PCS accounting procedures. Students who don’t pay their dues on time will be dismissed from the society. Due with applications must be turned in by Friday, September 8.

All members are required to tutor at least twice EACH SEMESTER. (Requirements may be adjusted, depending on need.)
If you cannot tutor on the day you are scheduled, you MUST FIND A REPLACEMENT or give notice the day before your absence. If you do not show up or send a substitute, you will be put on probation.
One point will be earned for each extra hour of tutoring (2 lunch periods).

Car Wash - Saturday, September 30, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Car wash at Fifth Third Bank in Boot Ranch Shopping Plaza on Saturday, September 30, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

International Day will be held at Countryside High School from 8:30 - 1:00 pm.
Attendance is voluntary but points will be awarded.

All members are expected to contribute five cans or other non-perishable items to the canned food drive to benefit the Hispanic Outreach Center in Clearwater. Five cans are required and worth one point. One extra point may be earned for every five additional cans, up to 2 extra points.

The Pulsera Project - November 27 - December 8. Students will sell Pulseras to benefit the Pulsera Project workers in Guatemala and Nicaragua. All students must participate.
Activities and Points Deadline - Friday, April 5
You must turn in your Activities and Points Log to Sra. Damp by Friday, April 5th. No late forms will be accepted. Points Logs may be downloaded from our website, or ask your Sponsor.

New Member Induction - Wednesday, April 10 After School
Attendance is mandatory for the New Member Induction into the Society. Induction date: Wednesday, April 10th after school. Make arrangements with your after school job and/or for a ride AHEAD OF TIME.
